I was born and raised here in Washington State. I have always loved and appreciated the beautiful environment around me through road trips with my family. What inspired me to be an assistant teacher is the constant support from my school’s faculty members around me. This showed me that I can make a change, and Maria Montessori’s teachings display to me that there is a lot more to teaching than just ABCs and 123s. I began volunteering for places such as the YMCA my freshman year of high school, getting involved in events that they put together. Not only that but my high school cheer team hosted many events like Mini cheer camp, etc. I also have 6+ years of childcare experience from babysitting, and I am so grateful for the relationships I have formed throughout those years.
Currently, I am a student at Everett Community College where I am pursuing my degree in early childhood education. Aside from being a student, I am a cheerleader for the Everett Show Team. I am involved in events like the Everett Royals Football games, Everett Community College sports events, and even the AquaSox Baseball games! Not only am I cheering on the sidelines, but I am also an assistant cheer coach at Cascade Elite Cheer. I coach two teams, Dynasty, and Royals, which range from the ages 3-8. I love working with these athletes, it allows me to shape these young minds with something I enjoy myself!
